The wrants will continue June 4, 2010

I am glad to see the job numbers this morning. At least the census bureau is hiring. If the government could turn counting people into a full time career track job we might be on the road to prosperity.

As for me, I got shot down again yesterday for a job. I am starting to take it personally. I apply for a job at about half my usual salary and it set off alarm bells in the heads of the people doing the hiring. I tried to assure them that I was beaten down enough to accept such low pay, but they weren’t having it.

They didn’t want some one who had once earned what they were earning. They wanted someone who was never up. It’s much easier to manage someone who has always been down. I can’t say I blame them. They saw through my desperation.

But the good news is that I can still sit here and wrant all say about the vprtex of a world that I am living. Turning that frown upside down.

Aimlow Joe was here.

don’t let it get to you. seriously. don’t let it get to you.

I’ve been mostly unemployed for NINE years. yep, 9 years. Oprah should do a show on me.

you know how people say “get a job at McDonald’s”? well, during the time my lack of employment really got rolling, the McDonald’s CLOSED! When do you hear of a McDonald’s next to an interstate and a YMCA childcare complex closing? And that was in 2004 or 2005.

Oprah should do a show on you! I avoid daytime TV but I’d watch that episode.

It just sucks out there right now. Keep on reading. Thanks.
