Zig Zag May 4, 2010

As I am entering month 10 of my unemployment, or as I have taken to calling it, funenjoyment, I am getting the feeling that we are in for another so called jobless recovery.

My Mega Millions fantasy is just about the only thing keeping me going at this point. It’s a sorry state of affairs when I am relying on a one in a billion chance to get me out of the hole I am in.

Sometimes I look back at the critical decisions in my life and wish I would have zigged instead of zagged. This experience has taught me to to zag next time.

This ridiculous site is averaging about 50 visitors a day. Thanks to those of you who visit regularly. Tell you friends. Feel free to comment or send me a contribution. I don’t edit the comments. Say whatever you want, I do.

Oh and please click on the ads. I am a few bucks short of a twelve pack. It’s bad enough to be unemployed, but to face it in the cold sober light of the moon is cruel and unusual punishment.

At a guess, it appears that Google’s issue with a “please click” statement like the one in the last paragraph of the ZigZag post is that their advertizers don’t want people with no interest in where they’re going to be clicking solely for the sake of logging a billable event. Good luck finding and jumping through their hoops.

At this stage of the economic breakdown, I don’t think zigging or zagging would have helped me. I’ve zigged and zagged and still no work. And 50 visitors a day is really not too bad…
